Molly is a Virginia bred pony who is definitely leaving her mark on the pony hunter circuit as a successful broodmare. Dam of Poster Boy by Penrhyn Sporting Chance, who was the fourth highest seller at the 2004 American Hunter Pony Classic Auction and finished 4th overall in his division at the USEF Pony Finals. Molly has also produced Devon and VPBA Futurity winners and her finished babies have been consistently sold for five figures.
Molly was the Maryland Pony Hunter Futurity Champion as a 2 year old. She was Reserve Champion Mare of her American Sport Pony Inspection and is also dam to the 2003 ASPR Canadian Foal Champion, Foxen Juicy Bug, by Penrhyn Sporting Chance, with an overall score of 8.0, which tied the U.S. Foal Champion that same year. She is extremely well bred with many successful pony hunters in her pedigree. She is by the very famous Farnley Belshazzar, the last living son of Farnley Lustre, and out of a 15.2 HH Thoroughbred mare, and is the only Farnley Belshazzar daughter in Canada! Belshazzar has consistently been high on the USEF Leading Pony Hunter Sire List for many years. Molly is a half sister to Ricky Martin, high seller at the 2007 American Pony Hunter Classic Auction for $67,500 US and purchased by our good friends the Powers, who also have two pony hunter offspring by our Section B stallion Alvesta Picasso. Molly is also half sister to the very famous pony hunter Rosecroft Wise Guy. Molly's grandsire needs no introduction, the immortal Farnley Lustre!
Molly was shown on the line and over fences in 2009 by junior riders before being retired as a broodmare. She ended up as the 2009 WPCSC Canadian National Champion Junior Hunter and tied for third Nationally in the Half Welsh 3 & Over halter. She is completely uncomplicated at shows, requiring minimal warm-up and has absolutely no spook. She's blessed with a winning under saddle trot, beautiful model pony hunter conformation and is one of the sweetest ponies we've ever had! Her 2011 foal has been sold in utero to Virginia! Molly can be sold with a free 2012 breeding to Alvesta Picasso or Daventry's Power Play.
