Can you say babysitter? This super quiet pony is steadier than some of our ten year old seasoned ponies due to his great attitude and forgiving nature. Multiple champion in both the hunter and dressage rings. Joker's wonderful stride pins him high in the pony hacks and his correct conformation is why he's nearly undefeated in the models. He is very handy over fences, is straight down his lines and will jump anything in front of him. Joker is a smooth ride, responsive and forward off of the leg and has the softest mouth...hacks in a rubber snaffle. He does auto changes but prefers to just land on the leads.
Joker's half-sister, Daddy's Money, was recently sold to California to pursue a hunter career. His grandsire, Rosedale Fairy Prince, is consistently on the USEF Top Pony Hunter Sire List and produced Asgard Torchlight who is a consistent Zone winner in the medium pony hunters & pony jumpers and sold through the American Pony Hunter Classic for $17,000 US and went on to qualify for both the 2001 & 2002 Pony Finals.
Perfect for a novice rider as he is extremely quiet and patient. Dead quiet on the trails (hacks out on the buckle), whether alone or with a group. Requires no warm-up at shows or schooling rounds and has junior show miles both on the flat and over fences. He's also recently debuted in leadline classes on the Welsh Pony circuit. He will remain in full training until sold and has also participated in several dressage clinics. He is eligible green pony!!
Joker finished off the 2004 season with double Reserve Grand Championships at the US Welsh Western Nationals, USEF 9th overall in the US for Half Welsh Adult Hunters and WPCSA NorthWest Region Half Welsh Adult Hunter Year-End Reserve Champion. Currently beating the warmbloods in the dressage ring, this is an outstanding pony for anyone looking to win on the 'A' circuit in either hunter or dressage! I wanted to give you a quick update on Joker. He is really settling in and was absolutely awesome today! He had a great session both doing the big jumps with Uli and small verticals with Stephi. Wow!
