Pete is a very elegant pony with a huge step on him. He is incredibly quiet, has lots of junior miles and would be suitable for any age of rider from beginner up to advanced. He has also been extensively trail ridden. Pete is very cute over fences and has a wonderful, soft flow around course on a loose rein. He is light in the bridle, easy to keep on the bit and is currently schooling in a rubber snaffle. He has a wonderful canter which allows him to make it down the lines easily.
He is out of a lovely Welsh hunter pony mare, Petunia, who happens to be a past Sales Graduate at Daventry Farms. Pete's full brother, Charlie Brown, is now pursuing a hunter career in California. Pete is confidently showing in the hunter ring and does autos around course and on the flat. He is incredibly uncomplicated and quiet at shows, requiring no warm-up or schooling rounds. He will remain in full training until sold.
